Part of me is reconsidering this whole “culture-blog” thing and contemplating a new direction. It’s almost a new decade… does YRR need to take a new path? I think I’m facing my midlife crisis. I’m already 19. I’m too old to live. Like that tween in the M83 song. What defense mechanisms can I employ to repress these feelings? I can’t afford a sports car and I don’t have a secretary. What would Carl Jung do? Most importantly, what would Carles do? This is all so Kafkaesque.  I think I’ll start a fashion blog.

Here are YRR’s 3 simple steps to looking hip as hell and lookbooking the crap out of the Internet.

Step 1. Look as much like The Unibomber as possible. When people see you on the street they will  wonder whether you are just hiding the black eye Chris Brown gave you or if you mail bombs to the people who made your ipod. Being mysterious is all part of the game.

Step 2. Stand in really awkward positions whenever someone breaks out a camera. Not sure why. Just do it. It makes you look more creative.

Step 3. Remember, impracticality, impracticality, impracticality. Fashion isn’t about function. It’s about being different. No matter what. Take for instance, YRR’s newest contribution to the world of cutting edge clothing. They’re uncomfortable (for you and anyone who looks at you), keep you from moving your arms, and make people question your sanity. Shirtless-sleeves. The next big thing.
