Matt & Kim

So… I don’t have anything sarcastic/rude/witty to say about Grand. I love it. Recorded in Matt Johnson’s childhood bedroom in Vermont, the album captures that DIY feel that is essential to Matt & Kim’s music and yet it shows more maturity than the band’s self-titled album from 2006. The duo has also managed to add a new depth to their sound with tacks like Spare Change. (follow link to hear it fo’ free through lala) It’s good. I like it. I wish I could be more of a dick about it.
